The
declaration of Faith of the Christian Counselling Centre contains
the essential truths of the Christian faith.

-
That
the Bible is a revelation of God to humanity, the only
inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God
-
That
Jesus Christ is fully God as evidenced by: His virgin
birth, His sinless life, His many miracles, His death on
behalf of every human individual which satisfied the
just demands of God, His bodily resurrection, His return
to heaven, His present ministry on behalf of all
believers, and His future return to earth in power and
glory.
-
That there is one eternal God who exists in three
persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
-
That Adam was created in the image of God for the
purpose of relationship with Him, but because of his sin
was separated from God. As a consequence of Adam's sin,
the entire human race is born sinful and is incapable of
doing the will of God.

We believe
-
That by his grace, God has provided forgiveness and
reconciliation for all who repent and believe in the
Lord Jesus Christ, and as a consequence are born again
of the Holy Spirit.
-
That
every believer is indwelt by the Holy Spirit and His
gifting, and experiences the Spirit-filled life as they
yield control of their lives to Him.
-
In
the reality of Satan and his many evil forces who are
opposed to God and who actively seek to destroy all that
comes from God, including the church which is engaged in
constant battle with these spiritual forces.
-
In the bodily resurrection of the dead; those who are
Christians being resurrected to eternal life (heaven)
and those who are not Christians, to eternal death
(hell).
-
In the Universal Church, the body of Christ. Comprising
all of those who have been born again of the Holy Spirit
and who gather locally to worship God, to build up other
believers and to introduce, the world to God.
