SERVICES -cont-

A very wide variety of work with children, youth, adults, and families is undertaken.

For example:

Ø      Sexual abuse recovery work.

Ø      Anger and violence issues.

Ø      Trauma and grief.

Ø      Stress and burnout.

Ø      Family and parenting issues.

Ø      Couple counselling.

Ø      Workplace issues.

Ø      Counselling children and adolescents (at various schools & at the Centre). 

Ø      Truancy related work.

 

Mental Health Services:

Increasingly the Centre is providing support for people (adults & children) who are struggling with acute long term Mental Health issues such as:

Ø      Anxiety disorders.

Ø      Phobias.

Ø      Eating disorders.

Ø      Depression.

Ø      Addictions.

Many clients are also under the care of the Mental Health Team who monitor & medicate, with CCC providing the long term counselling & support.

We also have strong links to a Child Psychologist working in private practice.

 

Social work Services:

As the number of people using our service continues to rise, the need for social Work Support increases. Currently we have two staff that have social work qualifications.
